At Creative Life Therapy, each session is tailored to your needs. We provide a mix of talk therapy, art therapy, and mindfulness practice.
We work with individuals throughout the lifespan, from young children through adults. We can help you work through creative blocks, develop problem solving skills, and learn more about yourself.
We have experience working with trauma, neurodivergence, ADHD, physical and developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, grief, stress management, emotional awareness, life transitions, and parenting.
We continually strive to be fully present in the process as we journey together.
We all have the power to look at our stories, reflect, and begin to create the lives we desire. We all have the power to look at our stories, reflect, and begin to create the lives we desire. At Creative Life Therapy, we try to create a safe, nonjudgmental atmosphere that is built on mutual respect and acceptance as we journey along with our clients toward discovering meaning. We hope to establish a space that is accepting of all feelings and life experiences and open to the spectrum of emotion and personal expression. We believe that growth comes from honest, unique expression and that creativity is part of this process of self-discovery.
The responsibility for creating one’s life is an active process; art can help a person to make choices and contemplate possible results. Art making involves choosing materials, having the freedom to make choices, and creating unique meaning. Art can help a person work through feelings of grief, loss, fear, and pain. It can help us to make sense of the world around us. The nonverbal nature of art making may assist an individual in expressing strong emotions that are difficult to express in words.
It is our hope to inspire others to continue to express themselves creatively throughout their lifespan.
